Erin

ERIN

CERTIFIED DOG TRAINER

With nearly 20 years of professional dog training experience, Erin has dedicated her career to developing reliable working dogs, helping families build stronger relationships with their pets, and continually expanding her expertise across multiple disciplines of canine behavior, obedience, and performance.

Erin’s journey began through a national pet retail training program, where she quickly advanced to the role of Area Trainer. During this time, she adopted her first demonstration dog, Dodge, an Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix who inspired her passion for advanced dog training and education.

In 2016, Erin graduated from the National K9 School for Dog Trainers’ Master Trainer Program. She then traveled to Burleson, Texas, to further her education in service dog training before completing an intensive 18-month internship with Logan Haus Kennels in West Virginia. There, she gained invaluable experience raising and whelping military working dog litters, developing detection dogs, conducting narcotics and explosives detection training, and learning every aspect of kennel operations and management.

Erin continued her education in Grass Valley, California, where she completed another internship with a private trainer specializing in behavior modification, French Ring sport, and professional training facility management. She later relocated to North Carolina to pursue PSA (Protection Sports Association) training while working with Next Level Kennels, where she also fostered and rehabilitated rescue dogs with a wide range of behavioral challenges.

Today, Erin is a proud member of the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP) and a certified AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Evaluator. Her areas of expertise include Belgian Malinois, behavior modification, dog-to-dog aggression, confidence building, service dog training, personal protection, narcotics and explosives detection, and developing stable, reliable working dogs.

Erin’s own dogs reflect the versatility and high standards she brings to every training program. Dodge, her 15-year-old Australian Shepherd/Border Collie, enjoys performing tricks and herding geese. Rebel, her Belgian Malinois, competes in PSA while also performing narcotics detection, psychiatric service dog work, and dock diving. Hazel, a Bull Herder, is trained in personal protection and dock diving. Ego, a young Bandog, is currently developing in personal protection and detection work, while Envy, a Dutch Shepherd, is training to become Erin’s next PSA competition dog.

Whether she’s helping families develop well-mannered companions or preparing high-level working dogs, Erin’s mission remains the same: to build confident, capable dogs through fair, effective training while strengthening the bond between dogs and the people who love and depend on them.
